Hopefully reduce the rate of this intermittent failure in CI

What does this MR do?

If the error doesn't reoccur instantly, then this change will reduce the rate that we see false failures from these tests. I don't know why the pipe would just close sometimes.

Are there points in the code the reviewer needs to double check?

Why was this MR needed?

Failures on master are a waste of people's time as well as machine time.
