issue tracker fails to find most issues of a given user
Summary
searching for a given author in the issue tracker, fails to find most tickets created by that user.
Steps to reproduce
- create issues as user
umlaeute
. - search for
@umlaeute
in the issues search field.
Example Project
this very issue tracker: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ce/issues?scope=all&utf8=%E2%9C%93&state=opened&search=%40umlaeute
What is the current bug behavior?
only a few issues are found.
e.g. when searching this tracker for @umlaeute
i get only two results:
What is the expected correct behavior?
all issues owned (at least) by the searched-for author should be displayed. e.g.
- #14805 (closed)
- #28471 (moved)
- #42274 (closed)
- #42277 (moved)
- ... (many more which i cannot find right now, since the search doesn't work)
probably also the tickets where the author participated should be listed (but that's at your discretion)
Output of checks
This bug happens on GitLab.com
Additional information
i'm loggin into gitlab with my github account.
i also used to set my displayname to umläute
(with an umlaut-a), but changed that back to umlaeute
, as i guessed that this might be the cause - but to no avail.
