License not showing up in the Project menu bar when called LICENCE

For whatever reason the www-gitlab-com repository doesn't show any License in the header on its project page, but does show Readme and Contributing links. The file in this repo is called LICENCE.

This works fine in gitlab-ce, where the file is called LICENSE. I'm guessing the change to include the license type (e.g. MIT License) doesn't think to check for alternative License files?

This seems to be a regression with 8.7.
