Investigate approach to promoting secondary in multi-secondary configurations
The basic case of one primary and one secondary has been implemented #1921 (closed)
In organizations that are more risk averse, or run multiple secondary geo nodes to be close to more geographically distributed teams, the disaster recovery process needs to work. The most challenging part here is that we need to update all the nodes in a system as they are statically linked, so we need some sort of centralized way to store configuration data.
This issue is about investigation and research to choose an approach
