Remove any Omnibus-related code
Those changes were made before we decided to abort the idea of bundling the docs with Omnibus. We don't need them anymore. For more information, you can also check this more comprehensive issue where a lot of discussions took place gitlab#214164 (closed).
This basically reverts the following:
