What does this merge request do and why?

Do not set VUE_VERSION on vite

Setting VUE_VERSION=2 on vite breaks the GDK for users with vite, because something is off. It changes the resolution to use GitLab UI's src rather thand dist, which is problematic.

We need more time to figure this out.
