Visual design training
The purpose of this issue is to establish a plan for a small cohort to participate in visual design training. The goal of the training is to be more proficient in visual design for digital interfaces in order to improve the quality of GitLab while elevating the level of design craft in the company.
Participants will:
- Take the learning and focus on specific visual design aspects of GitLab that can be improved within their area of the product.
- Gain proficiency with Figma.
- Be more familiar with GitLab's visual language.
- Be an advocate for visual polish.
Format
Independent course work with group and individual sync sessions.
Schedule
Meet frequently to discuss course learning and application. Estimated 1–3 hours per week through the course duration.
