Accessibility training
The purpose of this issue is to establish a plan for a small cohort to participate in accessibility training. The goal of the training is to obtain a deeper understanding of accessibility practices and user needs in order to improve the accessibility of GitLab.
Participants will:
- Take the learning and focus on specific aspects of GitLab that can be improved within their area of the product.
- Gain proficiency with accessibility technology and performing evaluations.
- Be an advocate for accessible practices.
Format
Independent course work with group and individual sync sessions.
Schedule
Meet frequently to discuss course learning and application. Estimated 1–3 hours per week through the course duration.
