Dashboards & Self-Service Enablement | B |
Tremendous improvement in the past quarter and have defined a path to success. Good: Delivered VIP new dashboards (primarily GTM) and new Gainsight Data Pump; enabling Sales and Marketing teams to build on EDM. Areas for improvement: Need more and more regular contributions to the Handbook for Data Catalog and Operations; we've reached the limits of SiSense CDT and need to find a better tool to achieve world-class Self-Service BI. |

Q1 was our best quarter for EDM results and we have created a team, plan, and recipe for success. We do have a long journey ahead to build-out EDM for all of our key subject areas. Good: Successfully launched EDM.GTM and established SSOT for major areas of GTM performance measurement. Areas to Improve: EDM.Product needs work and several areas continue to be based on legacy xf code. EDM.MarketingDataMart is behind schedule and needs to successfully launch in Q2. We do not yet have CoE program for EDM development and we starting to make mis-steps. |
Enterprise Data Platform (was Pipes & Pumps) | C- |
Major outage of GitLab.com starting in April impacted our results and EDP is not viewed as a reliable platform for fresh data. Good: Successful launch of Gainsight data pump. Areas to Improve: Marketo data pump/project is behind schedule; several P1 source outages; no new data sources delivered in Q1, no simple view of SLO adherence; Trusted Data Dashboard is always red and is falling into being unusable/untrusted. |
OKR Results | B- |
Despite the problems on the platform, we had a good quarter overall. We completed the most important OKRs in the quarter (Fusion Team, xMAU standards, Usage Data for Gainsight, SaaS Usage Ping Design, GTM Dashboard). But we fell short on our Data Platform and the OKRs related to it (Tier 1 feeds, Quarterly health audit, Security, etc.) |
