Removing the serverless product category

Viktor Nagy (GitLab) requested to merge nagyv-gitlab-master-patch-84319 into master

Why is this change being made?

We want to remove the serverless category as given the available resources, it's not a priority and the existing features became obsolete given the technology evolution of our dependencies, specifically Knative.

Closes Product#2168 (closed)

Steps to take

  • remove Serverless from categories.yaml

  • remove Serverless from features.yaml

  • Merge requests with changes to stages and groups and significant changes to categories need to be created, approved, and/or merged by each of the below:

Chief Product Officer VP of Product Management The Director of Product relevant to the stage group(s) The Director of Engineering relevant to the stage group(s) CEO

  • The following people need to be on the merge request so they stay informed:

Chief Technology Officer VP of Development Director of Quality Engineering Engineering Productivity (by @ mentioning @gl-quality/eng-prod) The Product Marketing Manager relevant to the stage group(s)

  • After approval and before merging, obtain final confirmation from the Engineering Manager for Quality Engineering. This is to ensure that GitLab Bot auto-labeling can be updated prior to the change, which can be disruptive if missed.

Closes gitlab-org/configure/general#148
