Update Recent News page

Why is this change being made?

Updating our recent news section to reflect latest media hits. @wspillane you may notice I've only added two entries despite needing a full month update to our recent news section. This is because I'm creating a how-to video for how to add recent news to the website. Can you please merge when you have a minute? TIA!

For example changes to .gitlab-ci.yml, JavaScript/CSS/Ruby code or the layout files. (this requirement has been removed pending identification of a new DRI for the handbook)
