Why is this change being made?
Update promotion and transfer page to clarify policy/best practice pertaining to interim periods. Key changes are:
- Clarification in the
BambooHR or Greenhouse Process
section that all interim roles should go through the Greenhouse application/interview process - Addition of
Interim Roles
section and guidelines around interim period best practice and policy around process/outcomes
Key discussion topics to review prior to merging:
- Alignment on whether interim team members should have their direct reports during the interim period reporting to them in BHR (current status: yes)
- Alignment on whether acting team members should have their direct reports during the interim period reporting to them in BHR (current status: no)
- Align on the best way to track interim period dates (current status: states that PBP is responsible for adding the start date to the interim "tracker" for the division)
- Align on whether submitted promotion documents after successfully interviewing through the Greenhouse process for interim roles is necessary (current status: Greenhouse process should always be followed, no promo doc submission following the Greenhouse process is required)
