Release Management Categories & Proposed Change

Today, Release Management contains:

• Pages
• Release Orchestration
• Secrets Management
• Release Governance

We are often confronted by external and internal customers being confused on where the Compliance Management category begins and ends with Release Governance. We are proposing a simplification of Release Governance to be descriptive of what the category will actually encompass, which is the Release Evidence Artifact.

We are proposing Release Management Categories to be as follows:

• Pages
• Release Orchestration
• Secrets Management
• Release Evidence

• Stage yaml
