Update maturity plan for the container registry

As part of Q4 OKRs, we originally planned to move the Container Registry from viable to complete. Unfortunately, we were were not able to accomplish this, as in order to make significant improvements to the Container Registry, we needed a Go engineer.

We recently on-boarded our first Go Engineer and the Container Registry remains a top priority, but reaching Complete by January does not seem realistic.

Current Maturity Plan

  • Improve the performance and reliability of garbage collection (not started)
  • Storage tracking and limits for the Container Registry (not started)
  • Implement in-line garbage collection (not started)
  • Retention / expiration policy (scheduled)
  • Fix Tag pruning and deletion logic (Complete)
  • Sort images list (not started)
  • Filter images list (not started)
