Update 'Add yourself to the Team Page' instruction
Onboarding issue includes Department-specific section with additional
tasks.
For example, for Engineering, it suggests to add yourself as a reviewer for gitlab-ce and gitlab-ee projects on the team.yml
page.
But Department-specific section located at the very end of the onboarding issue, while the instruction to add yourself to the Team Page is in the Day 4 - Git
.
It may lead to updating team.yml
again, which also means verifying the result and requesting MR review from the manager again.
Personally, I've noticed the task only after I created MR (and only because I was wandering through the end of the list).
Let's inform new team members about an additional section in their issue which may be relevant. WDYT?
