Taurie Davis requested to merge ux-handbook-assigned-issues into master

Proposes a new workflow for follow through of issues, removes sections that speak towards keeping all ux ready issues assigned to yourself.

There are a few reasons this workflow does not work well:

  • As we scale, we will work in different areas and be more specialized. We have already seen this with assigned stage groups. This means you will not be responsible for an issue you may have worked on previously. We should remain flexible and allow the responsible UX designer for a stage group take over the issue.
  • It is difficult to see issues you need address first when your assignee list is full of all issues you've ever worked on.
  • Having a UXer assigned could be confusing for contributors. They may think it is not open for them to take on. GitLab bot is removing the Accepting merge requests label when there is an assignee.
