Why is this change being made?

Adding Development dept groups and talent assessment timeline.

Some key points:

  • Proposing to embed a small group calibration including Sr Mgrs and Dirs from what was previously the Development department ahead of the new department calibration. These small groups would only calibrate associate, intermediate, senior, and staff ICs.
  • Rationale is that the vast majority of the year was spent in the Development department, so we want to ensure opportunity for leaders to calibrate across that group
  • After the small group sessions, we would plan for the Sr Mgr+ sessions to calibrate EMs and Principal+ ICs to align to the new departments (Infrastructure, Expansion, and Core Development). In the "calibration schedule" section you will see a column for "department" which indicates this separation for clarity.
