We decided to cover Auto DevOps with GitLab QA given the amount of features that it touches:

  • runner
  • deployments
  • kubernetes
  • variables
  • multiple clusters
  • scaling of deployments

We will likely implement subset of that, but we should be able to cover golden path. Once it is done it will make it much easier to everyone to contribute and it will reduce the effort to manually test Auto DevOps (as done today by number of people @bikebilly, @markpundsack, SA).
