We decided to cancel our FY23 Contribute, because the level of COVID risk posed to team members from a large, global event. Team members are craving connection and a chance to spend time with other team members. While Contribute cannot be the forum, we should offer alternatives that give folks the opportunity to spend time with others.

This is a proposal for an alternative that enhances the original visiting grant program. It aims to be inclusive of team members and support team members in self-organization. For example, it builds upon the original visiting grant program by allowing team members to fund activities in their local area, something that the original visiting grant program didn't do.

We welcome feedback on this proposal. Please share any manager mention feedback by 2022-07-19.
