Development Department: Introduction of O'Reilly Learn
We are currently in the process of acquiring 50 licenses (which allows us to signup up to 100) to O'Reilly Learn (https://www.oreilly.com/online-learning/features.html)
To complete the process those steps need to be completed:
-
Create Coupa Request -
Complete Coupa Request with signed contracts -
Setup of new sub organization through OAuth - https://www.oreilly.com/online-learning/integration-docs/using-sso-saml.html#attributes
As already customer experience is using O'Reilly through Okta we can use this but would want to have our seperate organisation to administrate directly. This means we need to have a look at our Okta connection to provide those attributes mentioned in the documentation.
Getting access to O'Reilly
Please consider signing up that you will be using it really in the future as we have limited licenses and of course want to give them to team members who will actually use it.
1. Initial Sign on wave
We are collecting interested team members in this google sheet - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1WWgXJYZ6qiOowp45F_hKA1UBDNQsJXRlB9z1RZlW_7s/edit#gid=0 Which we will use to sign up team members in the first wave to reduce the overhead of access requests, etc. This sign up period will end with July. We will select based on the criteria in the sheet until we run out of the 100 signup spots.
2. After that first wave
After that we will operate with single access requests if we have sign up spots left.
If no seats are left we will consider adding more seats to the general agreement based on usage + budget. Or this would be also expensable through the individual L&D budget.
