Request for Comments: Clarify and align 'Senior Support Engineer Responsibilities'

Need

Senior support engineers have said that it's not clear what (if anything) they should do differently from intermediate Support Engineers.

Approach

We could create a page like Support Engineer Responsibilities that highlights things that are expected of seniors and the frequency they should do the (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly)

Since different folks have different strengths, they wouldn't be expected to do everything, but a list of suggest activities would be useful.

Benefit

Helps seniors know what to do.

Competition / Alternatives

  1. Perhaps seniors responsibilities are the same as intermediates?
  2. Perhaps this is already documented somewhere else and we've missed it?
    1. We do have the Performance Factor Template - Senior and the Competency Matrix but they don't have actionable activities / suggested frequency like the existing Responsibilities page.
