GitLab Translation Agent not loading translation resources (styleguide and termbase)

Problem Description

The GitLab Translation Agent is not loading translation resources, specifically the styleguide and termbase files, which is causing critical issues in the localization workflow.

Impact: The agent is making translations without consulting the approved Japanese styleguide and termbase, leading to:

  • Inconsistent terminology usage
  • Violations of localization workflow standards
  • Need for manual review and correction of all translations

Expected Behavior

The GitLab Translation Agent should:

  1. Automatically load and reference the Japanese styleguide and termbase
  2. Use approved terminology from the termbase during translation
  3. Follow styleguide conventions for consistency

Current Workaround

Users are currently loading GDATP (GitLab Duo Agent Translation Platform) directly into GitLab Duo Chat as a workaround until this issue is resolved.

Affected Terms (from the example)

The following terms were translated without consulting the termbase:

  • "Intelligent orchestration platform" → "インテリジェントオーケストレーションプラットフォーム"
  • "Teams and their AI agents" → "チームとそのAIエージェント"
  • "AI agents" → "AIエージェント"
  • "Software teams" → "ソフトウェアチーム"

High - This affects the quality and consistency of all translations produced by the agent.
