Request Authentication Alternative with Administrative Read Privileges on ops.gitlab.com for GitLab Connector
As described in #20 (comment 1591336478), ops-gitlab-net
on ops.gitlab.net no longer has administrative privileges and therefore python-gitlab
fails to properly populate its objects upon reception of request responses.
The fix to this issue, although originally thought to be one related to the authomize project itself and later the autohelp library, turned out to be related to ops-gitlab-net
losing privileges.
The GitLab Connector is currently generating these alerts:
'User' object has no attribute 'is_admin'
<class 'gitlab.v4.objects.users.User'> was created via a list() call
and only a subset of the data may be present. To ensure all data is
present get the object using a get(object.id) call. For more details,
see:
https://python-gitlab.readthedocs.io/en/v3.14.0/faq.html#attribute-error-list
It looks like we're using "sparse" User objects with a limited set of attributes.
