Increased eval latency and elevated memory utilization on redis shared state
I noticed a distinct change in the behaviour of shared state redis.
There is a massive increase in total time spent performing EVAL
s.
The rate of EVAL
commands is only very slightly elevated:
Suggesting this might be a new traffic pattern. A breakdown by SHA would be helpful, not sure how easy that is to obtain.
Impact on CPU utilization seems to be minimal. But we do see a significant effect on memory.
We also see increase in setbit
operations which should help us pinpoint the source of this traffic.
