As shown in gitlab-org/gitlab#387744 (closed) the current documentation around the configuration of Snowplow on GitLab.com vs self-managed can be misunderstood. This MR aims to clarify that Snowplow can be configured on self-managed but currently is only set-up for Gitlab.com
