What GitLab thinks about Docker / Getting Started with Docker
I know that there's a lot of good content about the Docker, but still since GitLab believes that containers are the future and worth clarifying our position on this, and also give a short intro into the topic for those who missed the party.
Maybe this post should be a part of CI posts series.
The best introduction to Docker I ever read is here. It is written in Russian originally, I know the author, and I have his permission to reuse(or even repost) the content.
An interesting thing worth to mention is a Docker Boilerplate by Adam Hawkins. He hosts his boilerplate templates on GitLab.com. Also, a funny thing: He published a couple of articles on Semaphore blog, but he uses GitLab CI for his personal website
