Special case of command definition is excluded from DIFadd
Hi, in my document I defined shortcuts for species names in the preamble as follows:
\def\tros/{\textit{M.~trossulus}}
\def\edu/{\textit{M.~edulis}}
When using git-latexdiff and those definitions are used in a changed sentence, they are excluded from the diff part and the compilation raises errors due to the / being separated from the definition.
\DIFaddbegin \DIFadd{Finally, while North-European }\edu\DIFadd{/ and }\tros\DIFadd{/ live in sympatry in several locations}\DIFaddend
However in the end there would be no need to exclude.
\DIFaddbegin \DIFadd{Finally, while North-European \edu/ and \tros/ live in sympatry in several locations}\DIFaddend
Is there any option to go around having to modify every case by hand in the produced tex file?
