The 17.0 major release is coming on May 16, 2024! This version brings many exciting improvements to GitLab, but also removes some deprecated features. I recently uploaded poppler 24.02.0 to Debian experimental, and Gambas was one of the affected packages that failed to build with it. Here's a patch that should fix the build with the new poppler as well.
