Restore support for Walkpaper GNOME extension by going back to random names
I'm on Ubuntu 19.10 with GNOME 3.34.1 and I use HydraPaper to set my wallpapers on the different workspaces managed by the Walkpaper GNOME extension. Walkpaper detects a change in workspaces then applies the saved wallpaper to the desktop. HydraPaper and Walkpaper used to work well together because HydraPaper chose a pseudo-random name for its wallpapers. In the new version (1.9.6), the wallpapers are all named "merged_paper.png." When I switch workspaces, Walkpaper applies this merged_paper.png to the desktop. As I change the wallpapers on all workspaces, eventually they all become the same wallpaper.
I'd like to see HydraPaper go back to using pseudo-random file names for its wallpaper so it can work with other applications/extensions like Walkpaper. My current workaround is to rename the file Hydrapaper creates then select it on the appropriate workspace with Walkpaper. It works because I don't change my wallpaper that much, but it was much easier before you made the change.
