We will soon be undergoing scheduled maintenance to our database layer. We expect GitLab.com to be unavailable for up to 2 hours starting from 2022-07-02 06:00 UTC. Please note that any CI jobs that start before the maintenance window but complete during the window period will fail and may need to be started again.

Recent changes to SpinEx by WP_XYZ can no longer be compiled due to "Can't decide which overload to use" error in the inc file.

  • Lazarus/FPC Version: <__> (Copy from Menu -> Help -> About Lazarus -> Button "Copy version information to clipboard")
  • Operating System: <__>
  • CPU / Bitness: <__> (64 or 32 Bit?)

What happens

when building the IDE it stops at spinex.inc(244,13) which specifically indicates in the notes that was put there to avoid this problem however, this problem was never there before. But it seems now there is a problem of such case.

What did you expect

Expected to to build of course

Steps to reproduce

Using Trunk with 3.2.0 on Win64

Do a pull from trunk and use build all.

Also, I can't seem to revert it for some reason. I'll need to research that a bit.
