Greek characters are not displaying correctly, if Crt comes in play (Windows only).
Summary
Hi! :-)
I used just a simple Hello world program (in Greek). Just displaying the text "Καλημέρα κόσμε!" (=Hello world!). Everything went properly. Then I added the line "uses Crt;" (in order to colorize the output). Before trying different colors, I recompiled and ran the program (just to test, if Crt plays well with the rest of the program. It compiled properly, but when runs instead of text, it displays semigraphics.
Here's the program:
program Hello;
uses Crt;
begin
writeln('Γεια σου κόσμε!');
end.
System Information
I'm at Win 10 x64 Pro. Latest FPC compiler (v.3.2.2 x64). NOTE: At Linux (Devuan x64 KDE oldoldstable) the program works properly.
PS. I found similar reports, but not exactly this specific one. If you think it's duplicate, please feel free to mark as such. Bye! :-) G.
