Uploader script clean up

Cleaned up a lot of switch case and if statements to make things more readable and customizable later on. Not sure how to deal with console logs is there a way to only log when addon / extension is in dev mode? Maybe a global variable and a custom logging function so that console logs don't appear in users console.

Forgot to mention I have tested the plugin in Firefox and it works fine.
