Write an article
One area that the Marketing Team does not engage with too much is producing content. The Fedora Magazine and Community Blog generally make enough to give us a long backlog. However, since we have so much energy right now, I figured a good way to learn more about the project and cool Fedora spins we offer would be to write an article.
How will this work?
- Look at the list of topics below and comment with ONE topic that you are interested in writing about. I will assign that topic to you in the body of this ticket.
- Do your research and write the article. If you have questions we can discuss in the thread for your initial comment.
- When you're finished with your first draft, provide a link to your article either through HackMD or Google Docs. I or someone on the Marketing Team will give feedback. We will go through an editing process.
- Once we approve the article, submit the article to the right outlet. Stay in communication with the appropriate team of editors as they guide you through the regular process.
- Once it's live, come up with a brief social media post to accompany the article and share it in a comment to this thread. From there we will post on social media and you can see how the post performs!
