Summary:
A beautiful, extensible search-based Android launcher
Description: |-
Starlight Launcher is an [open-source launcher](https://github.com/kennethnym/StarlightLauncher) that provides a search-based home screen experience to help you get things done faster.
You can search for:
- Apps/App shortcuts (only if you set launcher as default)
- Contacts
- Files
- Math expressions
- Wifi control
- URLs
right from your Home Screen, and more are in the work!
Starlight also provides widgets such as Quick Notes to let you jot down notes quickly without leaving your home screen. You can however also add normal Android widgets to your home screen as well.
Starlight is also designed to be extensible. It provides a public API that developers can use to extend Starlight's functionality. All built-in search features and widgets are built using the API. At the moment, it is not fully documented, it is not tested with third-party extensions. However, the extension loading logic is here, and if you want, you can try building your own extension by following the code available in the repo!
At the moment, it is still in early beta, so expect rough edges and bugs here and there. I am using Starlight on my phone, and I do encounter issues occasionally, so I recommend you install Starlight on a secondary device until it is more stable.
