index.download_repo_index_v2() and index.download_repo_index_v1()

This adds a missing piece of the index-v2 API which is used in some custom repository plugins and other setups. I would have liked to also switch to using download_repo_index_v2() internally everywhere, like fdroid mirror, but ran out of time because we want to get this in before the Debian/bookworm freeze. @jspricke

FYI @cde this should fix the SHA1 issue you recently patched in the CalyxOS repo.
