BBDNS is a free, open-source DNS ad blocker for Android. It filters ads, trackers, malware and phishing through a local VPN. No root, no privileged helper and no remote account are required. All filtering happens on the device.

Build notes

• Built with the fdroid product flavor.
• The app compiles the small Go native library libnflog.so during the Gradle build, so the recipe installs Go 1.23 and declares NDK 27.0.12077973.
• No Google Play Services, Firebase or other proprietary dependencies.
• Version information is tracked in version.properties, so the version in the commit matches the APK built by F-Droid.

The metadata was validated with fdroid lint (exit 0). The commit field points to the tagged v1.0.25 commit.
