Merge Request Setup

  • The title of this merge request should follow "New app: app name" format.
  • Please make sure your fdroiddata fork is public and your branch is not protected.
  • Please read our Git guide if you don't know how to rebase your branch.
  • All related fdroiddata and RFP issues have been referenced — RFP: https://gitlab.com/fdroid/rfp/-/issues/ (OptiCast), previous MR !50679 (closed) closed due to template, now fixed.
  • Please only submit one app in one MR.

Metadata

  • Metadata must be put in metadata/<applicationId>.yml.
  • Metadata must be a valid YAML file.
  • Metadata must use LF as line ending.
  • Don't add summary/description/changelog/images — provided via fastlane in upstream repo project/fastlane/metadata/android/en-US/ (title, short_description, full_description, changelogs/168.txt, images/phoneScreenshots 5 PNGs)
  • Releases are tagged and auto update is enabled: AutoUpdateMode: Version v%v, UpdateCheckMode: Tags, CurrentVersion: 2.6.119, CurrentVersionCode: 168
  • There is an issue tracker and contact info: https://github.com/opticastplayer-dev/opticast/issues, opticastproject@gmail.com
  • An AuthorName must be added: OptiCast Project
  • External repos are added as git submodules — not applicable, mpv prebuilt AAR in repo, full source with native
  • Enable Reproducible Builds: APK signed with same JKS, AllowedAPKSigningKeys will be added by reviewer after first build, same key across releases, versionCode always increasing
  • Only the latest versions should be kept: only v2.6.119 (168) in metadata
  • Don't add any disabled versions
  • The commit field should be the full hash: df08d3b577b21282f0d2b0d9e59531bafec5066b (v2.6.119 tag)

Pipeline

  • All pipelines should pass — fork pipelines currently fail 0 jobs due to open MR suppression, but target pipeline should succeed. fdroid lint com.opticast.player passes locally, YAML valid.
  • All warnings and errors in Reports tab should be fixed
