New app: GlucoWatch face
Checklist
Policy
- The app complies with the inclusion criteria: https://f-droid.org/docs/Inclusion_Policy
- I am the original author.
- Fastlane metadata is in the upstream repository at
watchface/fastlane/metadata/android/en-US/(face-specific title, summary, description, icon, demo screenshots and changelog; root metadata retained for publisher compatibility).
Docs and merge request setup
- Read the contributing guide, metadata templates, Build Metadata Reference and Quick Start Guide.
- Public fdroiddata fork; one package in this merge request.
- One LF YAML file under metadata/; description and images remain upstream.
- Author contact, issue tracker, tagged releases and tag auto-updates are configured.
Build metadata
- Latest version only: 0.1.12 (13).
- Full source commit for tag
v0.1.12:b9f2b73fcd9a25514bb7323bc70fae5c0c8618c0. -
subdir: watchface, gradle: [yes]; no custom output or prebuild command. - One unsigned release APK from the module-local build; release minification remains enabled.
- Dependencies come only from Google and Maven Central; no Play Services or external Maven repositories.
- Binaries links to the signed GitHub release; AllowedAPKSigningKeys uses the existing release certificate.
- Signed release locally matches a separate clean module-local build with
apksigcopier compare. - No ABI split; this package contains no native libraries.
Validation
- Core tests pass (161 tests); local F-Droid metadata lint and source/APK scanning pass.
- Demo captures checked on 432, 438 and 480 px Wear emulators.
- All nine GitLab CI jobs pass: pipeline 2910935514.
- Physical Wear OS 4+ watch testing remains pending. Emulator checks do not establish sensor prompts or Bluetooth reliability on hardware.
The watch app is a separate request: !49882. Glucose complications need it installed on the same watch.
The ordinary phone release includes ONNX inference, but there is no phone F-Droid request here. The watch release and watch face do not package that native runtime or downloaded models.
