Which Licenses can be integrated into f-droid
we have this feature request in our github repo: https://github.com/Qabel/qabel-android/issues/545
and as we also like the idea of an google-free android we would like to contribute to this open applications repo, BUT our open-source license excludes some usages (for example military use). https://qabel.de/en/license Here has someone written something about the problem of the definition of open source especially regarding to Qabel: http://culturedigitally.org/2016/04/can-software-be-free-taking-the-case-of-qabel-as-an-opportunity-to-discuss-liberty-and-software-freedom/
So the Issue question is - should we try to get qabel into f-droid or is this a no-go, cause you use the open-source definition of the FSFE?

Yeah - you are right. i didn't want you to change your policy the question was more related to the fact that we meet the open-source definition but we don't want intelligence and military to use this software, and it this could be declared as an "anti-feature" and thats it - but i was hoping too much i think.
but you still should read the paper above - it worth the reading time!

I don't know what your understanding of "open source" is, but if you mean it as FOSS, you are not meeting it if you are violating the freedom to use the software.
