GUI Bug: Updates > line number tap disable state
- Device OS and version: LOS 15.1 (Android 8.1)
- Device model/manufacturer: Samsung Galaxy S5
- F-Droid version (in the About screen): 1.4 and earlier.
- F-Droid privileged extension version (if installed): no.
What did you do? (clear steps if possible)
Tapped Install on a number of updates from Updates tab.
What did you see instead?
Any line item the user taps to Install will vanish when installed. That line index position is also set to 'disabled' to prevent accidental double tap. This results in lower lines to bubble up to occupy the deleted line, which is now disabled, and so the not-yet-installed item becomes disabled and ignores user taps. User has to back out and open the Updates tab again to install subsequent updates if they tried to go down the list from the top. Alternately, as a workaround, the user can install updates from bottom to top so line indexes are not reused and thus disabled lines don't interfere with apps still waiting to be tapped to update.
