Fixes #389 - Add logging entries emitting mechanism

As discussed yesterday a logging mechanism might be useful in general (no matter what the reporting approach we take). This MR does this without actually adding log entries emitting - we will have to figure out what and when we might want to emit.

We might want to describe it in the documentation (README), but at this point i found nothing about other event dispatchers (so i just leave it consistent with what we have at the moment).
