This project implements a MySQL database schema for managing data related to the SCP Foundation — a fictional organization that secures, contains, and protects anomalous entities and phenomena known as SCPs. The database is designed to store detailed information about SCP objects, containment procedures, personnel, experimentation records, alerts, and site management.

Benchmarked columnar vs row-oriented databases using the Yahoo Cloud Server Benchmark (YCSB). Compared throughput, latency, and error rates under different workloads. Analyzed trade-offs between NoSQL (Cassandra) and relational (PostgreSQL) databases with supporting graphs and configuration files.
