A production-shaped REST API built with NestJS, Prisma, and MariaDB, serving Formula 1® race, driver, team, and standings data. Implements role-based access control, session auth backed by Argon2, tiered rate limiting, centralized error translation for Prisma/HTTP errors, response caching, correlation-ID request tracing, and a derived-analytics engine (career summaries, season champions, head-to-head driver comparisons). Ships via a hardened multi-stage Docker build through a GitLab CI pipeline with coverage gating and Trivy vulnerability scanning.
