Drag'n dropping image thumbnail renders strangely

Hi,
I don't think you can actually do anything by drag'n dropping the image thumbnails (in the horizontal list below-right), can you? Like right now, you can't reorder images or anything that I can see. Yet there is apparently some unfinished drag'n drop capabilities left on, so when you happen to click and dragging by mistake one of the thumbnails, then releasing the drag, a copy of the thumbnail image gets "stuck" over Entangle's GUI, just being useless and annoying (only way that I found to get rid of it is restarting Entangle).
Would be nice to get rid of this unwanted behavior. :-)

Ohoh! I just realized! I don't have to restart Entangle. You can actually close the stuck thumbnail by "Alt-F4"-ing them until they are all gone. So it's like these stuck thumbnails are some kind of windows with no decoration and only the thumbnail itself in it?

Actually these popups are an intentional feature. The idea is that they act as a "tear off" resizable popup. Basically if you want to compare new shots against a couple of earlier images, but the thumbnails are too small you can tear off some bigger views of the image.

Admittedly the ability to resize and/or close them isn't too discoverable, so perhaps it needs a popup hint when holding the mouse over one of the tearoffs.

Oh I see. Nice feature once you understood it is a feature and what for. ;-)
But yes then it is a usability issue. A popup hint would be good, but that's not enough I think. I understand that you don't want decorations for this popup, but I would think there should still be a graphical way to close and resize.
There could be some close icon (from the current theme, usually a cross) in overlay over the popup (clicking it closes the window of course). Basically the kind of thing you'd see on webpage annoying popups nowayday. And same for the resizing feature. There should be some overlay "resize" icon, when you click and drag, it resizes the tear-off popup.
