Hyperlink to bibliography entry
Created by: pchampin
It would be nice if citations were hyperlinks to the bibliography entry, or at least if that behaviour could be set through an option.

It looks like this is finally implemented in citeproc-js:
http://citationstylist.org/2014/06/20/csl-dynamic-linking-in-citeproc-js/
If Zotero supports this we can see about using it.

I'm not sure we are talking about the same thing. I may be wrong, but it seems to me that this blog post is about linking to the URL of the publication (if any).
What I would like is that it links to the bibliography entry that is generated by the bibliography
directive.
For example,
This is described by :xcite:`@doe2003`
would result in
This is described by :ref:`Doe (2003) <@doe2003>`
and
.. bibliography::
would expand to
.. _@doe2003:
Doe, John. My Book. Smyth ed. 2003
NB: this assumes Sphinx. It would have to be slightly different in plain RST (_
suffix instead of ref
).

Hi Pierre-Antoine,
Hm, you may be correct. I know that linking to the bibliography entries has been a long standing issue in citeproc-js: it hasn't been possible, generally. I'll look into the issue again.
