SIMH command XF not LOCKLESS aware.

The SIMH command XF is not LOCKLESS aware; at the very least it probably has race conditions. It needs to do an actual thread communication rather then just asynchronously call CPU internal code.

The simulator doesn't currently have a way to "execute switches". It does have a way to invoke "execute fault". However, there are times when one might need to invoke the toehold, for example, to force an early dump if the system is locked up. In the "old days", one could do an "XED 24004" (to invoke a dump), or "XED 24002" (to do an ESD), or "XED 24000" to get to bce crash command level.
