armor --label=auto is underspecified
How is sop armor --label=auto supposed to guess the label type? Is it a simple decision based on the initial packet of the stream? If so, what should happen if any successive packets do not meet that expectation?
My vote would be to get rid of this, since sop guessing things is ultimately harmful.
Additionally, if the detection fails because the input isn't a valid OpenPGP packet, should sop output the armored bytestream as a message or should it error out?
