Diego Bernardes Silva
Product Engineer | SaaS & Workflow Systems | Indie Hacker | Founder @dbsolutions Lab
I build and operate products end-to-end, orchestrating AI — product, code, infra and operations. My thing is software that fits how operations really work, not how a spec imagines they do.
🧪 DBSolutions Lab
DBSolutions Lab is my independent software house — where time spent inside real operations turns into production code.
- What drives it: closing the gap between how a process actually runs and the software that's supposed to support it.
- How I work: I take projects from business modeling and architecture through APIs, database, front-end and CI/CD — no handoffs, no telephone game.
🚀 About Me
- I came to software from the operations side, so I tend to start from the problem, not the feature. A lot of what I build replaces messy manual processes instead of just adding another screen.
- 14 years in logistics and industry before going full-time into code — living with ERP ecosystems (SAP, TOTVS Protheus), supply chain constraints and the real edge cases that quietly break software in production.
- I own the full lifecycle: database schema → backend → web and mobile front-end → CI/CD and release.
- Background: B.S. in Systems Analysis and Development · Postgraduate in Software Engineering.
🛠️ What I'm Building
⚡ Rakkia (live with real users — rakkia.com.br)
A collaborative financial hub for everyday life in Brazil — split bills, manage shared shopping lists, track debts and control spending, all in one place. It started as two separate apps and grew into a single product with four modules:
- Faz o Racha — split group expenses with Pix, payment tracking and receipt confirmation.
- GoShopping — real-time collaborative shopping lists with price history and a Gemini-powered receipt scanner.
- Me Paga — debt management between people, with installments, amendments and proof of payment.
- Bolso — personal finance hub: categories, budget goals, installments and cash-flow forecast.
Status: web in production at rakkia.com.br, with real users; Android app in beta on the Google Play Store.
Stack: Go (Chi + GORM) · MySQL · Keycloak · React + TypeScript (PWA) · Flutter (Android + iOS) · Firebase FCM · K3S + Cloudflare.
Built together with Giovani Balarini, who leads the platform and infrastructure side (Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps) while I focus on product, backend and front-end.
🌰 Romã (in production — client delivery)
Delivery-manifest management with digital signatures, rebuilt from the ground up out of my legacy Flask system. Manifest lifecycle, box grouping, canvas signatures with delegation, in-app notifications, an analytics dashboard, report export (PDF/Excel/CSV) and a stock-receiving quality-control module — all under role-based access and a critical-action audit trail. Running single-tenant in production for an industrial group.
- Backend: Python 3.12 · FastAPI · SQLAlchemy 2.0 · Pydantic v2 · Alembic
- Frontend: React + TypeScript + Vite + TanStack Query
- Data: MariaDB 11
- Security: JWT + bcrypt · RBAC (3 roles) · audit logging (IP + user agent)
- Infra: Docker · Kubernetes (K3S) · GitLab CI · TLS full-strict · Cloudflare
Ground-up rebuild of my legacy Manifestly / RomaneiosApp (Flask) — kept as domain reference. Its lessons shaped this FastAPI + React architecture.
