The extracellular currents animation "currents_extra" has been
generalized to technically support both ECM and ECM-less simulations. To
avoid spurious test failures, this animation is disabled for ECM-less
simulations until the "Simulator.I_tot_x_time" and "I_tot_y_time" arrays
are properly initialized for such simulations. (Have unavoidable havok!?)
