- Set up /etc/crypttab as mentioned in man-page
swap /dev/sda3 /dev/urandom swap - Boot the system
What is the expected output?
Activating crypto devices using /etc/crypttab ...
mkswap: /dev/mapper/swap: warning: don't erase bootbits sectors
on whole disk. Use -f to force.
Setting up swapspace version 1, size = 706824 KiB

swap...done
What do you see instead?

I can terminate the process with ctrl-c at the console, so booting continues.
But then I have no swap-space.
